Prenatal visits will be in your home monthly until 28 weeks gestation, every two weeks until 36 weeks, weekly until 41 weeks, every 2-3 days until 42 weeks and beyond

Routine prenatal labs, noninvasive prenatal genetic testing, gestational diabetes screening, and GBS screening

Referrals for ultrasounds and consultations as needed

Labor and birth care by CNM from active labor through several hours postpartum

A second licensed midwife or NRP/CPR certified birth assistant

Birth Kit: Birth supplies are provided, with a few items listed to assist with care from around your home

On call availability 24/7 beginning at 37 weeks

Golden hour includes minimal disruption of bonding of mother and baby

Setup, cleanup, and tidying of the birth space

Initial comprehensive newborn assessment

Breastfeeding support

Perineal care including repair of 1st and 2nd degree lacerations of the perineum if needed

Home visits at 24 hrs, 4 days, 1 week, 2 weeks, 4 weeks, and 6 weeks.  Newborn care provided up to 4 weeks postpartum

Newborn screening offered at the 24 hr visit includes Critical Congenital Heart Defect (CCHD) and Phenylketonuria (PKU) offered at the 1-week visit

Birth Certificate and Social Security paperwork

Referrals for postpartum care as needed

$6,500-Fee includes all prenatal care, birth, postpartum care, and supplies provided

I am considered “self-pay” and do not bill insurance directly. However, I am willing to work with an insurance biller whose specialty is helping those seeking home birth care to file insurance claims after your care is paid for and completed

HSA/FSA accounts will cover my services in full

If you participate with a healthshare there are many that will cover midwifery care at home

An early pay discount of 10% is available for balances paid in full by 32 weeks gestation
